About Our Little Store

I hope the web catalog isn't unnecessarily confusing. We've started out kind of heavy on knives, because it was easy to get them, and almost quick to sell them on Ebay. That's why we started over there. Now that we have a good wholesaler, we feel like we can offer you some solid options. The rest of this is a list of those options, and our rules and conditions of sale, with my last minute thoughts at the end.. With an Absolute Golden Nugget in between. You might have to read it all to get it, sorry.

Requests

We love feedback, and we'd love to know what you're interested in. I'll be the first to admit, I like expensive knives, but I like Cheap, Chinese made, gas station knives too! If it's pretty, I'm easily amused. If the quality of our inventory is not up to your level, ask yourself, "Can old Tom afford a vault full of expensive knives?" And I'll answer you right now, NO! But we would love to chat with you about it, and we might be able to shake a special item out of the warehouse just for you.

Payment

This one concerned me too.  On the trusted advice of my web builder, we went with Stripe. We passed on Paypal because it's been compromised, has been known to try to stop payment for political reasons, and it's getting old. Stripe has a fair reputation so far, and the big kicker is, when you get ready to pay from our check-out page, as soon as you click to enter your card number, it should give you the option to use MANY payment services, including G-pay (Google Pay). This way, the funds are processed through your trusted payment app, and we never see your credit card numbers or even your card billing address. We only see when it's paid, and where your item is to be shipped. This is Stephanie's side of the store. I don't even know when you've paid until she tells me.

Hey! If Hunting and Fishing Ain't Your Thing

We have cross-over items that hikers and nature observers might like too! Lightweight cooking and back country camping items are available, as are binoculars, drop/hang LED beacons, Quite an assortment of backpacks and EDC . Again, just ask us, if you're looking for something specific.

Pre-paid Special Orders

If you're having trouble finding a particular item model, Message one of us. We have a supplier who will ship small orders and the catalog is HUGE. We usually require pre-payment on special orders, especially more expensive orders. I'll call ahead and make sure it's available, and get your order in ASAP, or within reasonable time constraints. High dollar knives and other High priced items may require special shipping and insurance charges. We will make every effort to get this worked out ahead of time, but there could be unexpected expenses that would have to be paid.

Large Order Discounts

Let's all work together, and Crowd-fund a great big order! Bring your friends! We might be able to swing a "group" discount on a large order of similar items. Imagine Christmas time at the Jobsite trailer with your new knife, or other wonderful fur and fishy item!

We do watch for close-outs, and will reflect the discount on the final sale price. Returns on close-out items could possibly be pro-rated, or exchanged, if we still have any available.

Canceling a Pre-paid Order

Betta not. But if you do, any restocking fees will be deducted from the refund total. Seriously. Your refund will be held until the warehouse is satisfied, and these fees are settled. We don't have any interest in holding your money, but we also do not have any interest in swapping cash back and forth while you make up your mind, then being left holding a re-stocking fee that you created. Be A Man, Commit to your dopamine driven impulse purchases! Anybody can be flaky and try to play backsies. Skip that payment! Hide your car at your mama's cousin's ex-brother-in-law's house until payday! HOO-AAHH! ...Not Really.. We'll get your money back on your account as soon as possible. OR Don't be surprised when we have to sell your special order to someone else at a significant discount to cover our losses.

Brand Names

The only brand name that I wish we could get, is Benchmade, but they are a little expensive for the majority of people who we're marketing to.  I mentioned before, the catalog available to me is HUGE, but stock varies. They do offer many High-end name brands.  We won't charge you anything until the item is in stock at the warehouse. But if you want us to find something that we absolutely can't get, we don't mind to refer you to a solid dealer. If you've read this far, here's the golden nugget. Some big brands set a "minimum advertised price, or MAP"  but since you're buddies with old Tom, if you message us first, we might be able to negotiate a Nice Price. Among friends, of course! Most of our inventory is marked down to a selling price that doesn't allow much wiggle room, but if a price seems high, or excessively high to you, or just the same stupid price as everyone else.. Message your old buddy Tom, and it's highly probable that we'll be able to make a deal. Brands have to protect their direct licensed merchants. A minimum advertised price is there to do just that.

Color and Size Options

If you see something in the store pages, that's ran out of stock, or a different color than you prefer, message one of us. We might have one in stock, Occasionally, we might be holding something in our lightly used or damaged packaging stock. If not, we can probably get one, or a dozen, within a week. If that ain't working, then we'll give you the option to wait, or give you a best guess time estimate. Hey, when the warehouse runs out, they're gone, I can not make'm here, but we can exhaust our resources, to find one last chance to make it happen.

Disputes, Claims, Warranty

If you have a problem, within the scope of understanding, with an order, a listed price, shipping, or other item defect, or if you just decide you don't like us anymore, We will still try to make things right. If you have a manufacturer's warranty claim, we can help you get that resolved also. You will probably have to submit your claim yourself, but we can usually get the necessary paperwork to you. We are a licensed dealer, buying from a Brand Licensed Warehouse.

Shipping

USPS  First Class has changed a bit. But we still Use them almost exclusively. Tracking numbers and standard insurance are provided on items valued at $10 or more. You may request a different service, and we'll address the shipping expense at that time. You can always send a message before you order, and we can arrange a local pick-up with an appropriate shipping discount, or fuel charge.

Packaging

Don't be judging me, It might look like your grandfather sent you something from his garage. I'll try to not get you dirty. If Sunshine sends a package out, she loves to stuff them with a few extra goodies. Your item will be adequately protected.

Customizing and accessory installation

Of course we have to open the manufacturer's package to do custom work. You must explain as close to exactly what you want as possible. Whatever's written in messages, is all that we will be responsible for. Expect delays if we don't understand what you exactly want. Drawings to scale are welcome. I actually love blueprints. 

Large order items and pallet handling

We may have to divert, or have excessively large items drop-shipped directly to you

This online store here, is limited to 100 different items for now.

You'd be surprised at how quickly we're coming up with 100 items... Our stock is going to vary, so if you see something you like, Better to grab it while it's available in the store, than to wait and miss it! We offer a lot of package deals and upgrade options to try to beat this limit. Many of these packages are rounded up right here, and you can often call us back for an upgrade if you missed out. We'll make you a custom upgrade deal on what we've sold. And maybe we can package an upgrade deal for a knife you already own!

Blades over 3" and banned, or prohibited possession:

We'll try to check before we ship, and will refund your money if we find that you're not supposed to have what you're buying, according to where you live, But if you fool me, shame on you. We will not be responsible for supplying you with illegal, or probation violating knives and other potential weapons. If the item is confiscated, or otherwise diverted out of either of our possession, It is not refundable. If we can get it back, it will be refunded with any re-stock fees deducted from the refund total.

Not responsible for:

Cuts and bruises, broken bones, limb dismemberment, deleted fingers and or toes, ear, nose, eye or lip, or various other and summary damages or deletes incurred from normal use, nor for abnormal use of the products sold here.
