Strong and sturdy, this knife is surprisingly versatile. The beefy pocket clip means it's right there, just under the top of your pocket, out of sight, and at less than 1/2 inch thickness, it stays out of the way. The clip can be removed and mounted on either side of the handle, so you can right OR left carry. Good carrying size. The clip is strong enough to carry in a back pocket or overhauls bib pocket without worrying too much about it falling out when you're working on the ground. One Handed Opening, One handed closing capable. Traditional style lockback.
Orange 112's come clamshell packaged, Green and Black 112 Slims are all boxed. The boxes are small and would fit inside a small package just fine. This is a Great gifting knife.
Hey! WHY would Anyone buy a Chinese "Mystery Steel" Knife, When you can have a USA made Buck, with 420HC BOS steel for a competitive price? Maintain the edge with ceramics or better. 420HC is harder than most kitchen honing steels, and forward strokes could grab the steel, possibly damage the blade. Back strokes might work fine. Normal sharpening on stones, diamond stones, and hones can bring it to near razor sharp. Buck BOS heat treating brings the hardness near 58, it resists the soft steel nicks that Chinese steel knives are famous for. It's definitely a favorite of mine, and I carry this knife more often than any other.
