This Big Beast is 18" of blade, 24 1/4" overall, probably gonna touch the ground before the day is over, dust-a-poppin, tree limbs-a-snappin, briars and brambles and zombies all-a-cryin, rabbits runnin for their lives, and momma worried sick about you the whole time you're gone with it. Swing and slap a man-sized slot all the way to your deer stand, and clear everything you can reach when you get up there. In September, I can barely see anything from up in the trees anyway. lol.. If you're looking for a machete, this is the one. Hard to lose with that blaze orange paint. A good pair of leather gloves is definitely recommended. Once you get started, it gets kind of fun, next thing you know, you could easily have a blister. The handle is a little bit rough, it adds to the grip!

With the black sheath and lanyard loop on the handle, it won't normally slip out of your hand.

The sheath that goes with it, keeps it readily available. Even if you hang it on the wall for storage, the sheath on your belt when you use it, might keep you from laying it down and walking away. Hey! The sheath comes with a rectangular sharpening stone in the lower pocket. You might find something to put in the other 2 pockets, like, a tourniquet, bandages, fire starters, lighter, etc.
