Traditional fish knives were cool when I was a kid, and when my grandfather gave me my first fish knife, I carried that thing around in my skinny boy's size jeans until it wore holes through my pockets. I've bought a couple of these fish knives since, and you might see me out somewhere with one anytime. The scaler works, the long narrow blade turns and follows where you want it to go. Does not flex like a fillet knife. Great for medium sized catfish, and pond jumpers too! The bright yellow keeps it from getting lost in the grass, and the hook remover works better than you think it would. Queen has the narrow hook remover scaler blade that works on the smaller fish mouths and hooks, just as well as the larger fish and hooks. Stainless steel blades, quickly hones to razor sharp with ceramic or diamond stones, maintain that edge with a steel or ceramic. Keep this one dry, a couple of shots of WD-40 for clean up, then a mineral oil wipe down, and then keep it as dry as possible. Great little knife!
3.5" blade length
