Bang for the buck! You get a green G-10 handle, black blade, made with D2 steel, for $30.00! G10 scales, a ceramic bearing, solid detent, top flipper open. The pocket clip makes it handy and almost concealable, the blade centers well as any knife I've ever seen, it closes down Compact enough for such a wide blade. That blade is isolated and suspended, thoroughly protected when closed. The liner lock is solid, makes one handed open and close quick and intuitive. For its size, everything is perfect to scale. The blade has a nice broad drop point design. It has a good finger groove sized radius on the heel of the blade, so I don't get bit by the sharp edge when I start to fold it. High carbon D2 steel needs to be maintained and kept dry to stay sharp and clean. the blade works well with light oil or a wax weather-proof coating. The edge can be cleaned up and maintained with ceramics or diamond sharpeners.
This is a good choice for the budget minded EDC/hunter. We believe this would make a GREAT first knife for young ones, or anyone interested in this style of knife.
The black CIVIVI cap! Steel (brass finish) buckle adjustment, solid material back. Long bill design makes it a good fishing cap for early morning or late afternoon.
